Definitions

- Company: Switzerland Transfers

- Operations Team: staff providing support and acting on behalf of the Company.

- Driver: staff performing transfers using a Company vehicle.

- Vehicle: any transport requested, confirmed, and used for the transfer.

- Customer: person booking transfer services for themselves or others.

- Passenger: anyone transported in a Company vehicle.

General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided. By booking online, or by phone, the customer accepts these terms. The Company is not responsible for errors if the customer is unaware of current regulations. For questions, contact the phone or email. The Company may update these conditions at any time; always check the latest version on www.switzerlandtransfers.ch.

The Company aims for safe, enjoyable journeys, complying fully with customer expectations.

Booking Procedure

When booking, the customer must provide accurate details: passenger names, dates, times, addresses, and payment info. The Operations Team will confirm receipt and contact for payment details. Any changes must be communicated promptly; the customer is responsible for confirming receipt of updates.

Reserves are reconfirmed 24 hours before the pickup. If not received, contact the Company to verify or report issues.

Pricing

Prices include tolls and taxes unless specified otherwise (additional stops, waiting, etc.). Prices are based on current rates and may fluctuate due to exchange rates, fuel, or taxes.

Travel Time

Estimated duration is for planning only and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events outside the Company’s control.

Payment

Accepted methods include credit cards and bank transfers (at least seven days before travel). Credit card payments are processed via secure online links, ensuring data privacy.

Changes to Bookings

Requests for modifications should be made via email or phone, verified and confirmed by the Operations Team. Customers are responsible for costs arising from changes, such as additional stops, waiting, or passenger number adjustments. Last-minute changes (within 48 hours) might also carry fees, depending on availability.

Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations made at least one week prior are free of charge, for later cancellations we will review each specific request.

- Non-refundable bookings cannot be canceled or changed.

- Cancellations are only effective after confirmation from the Operations Team.

- The Company can provide invoices for non-refundable bookings for reimbursement claims.

Last-Minute Bookings

Switzerland transfer will do its best to accommodate last-minute bookings, depending on route and season. The Company reserves the right to refuse last-minute bookings without explanation.

Company-Initiated Changes or Cancellations

In cases of force majeure (war, natural disasters, epidemics, severe weather), the Company may cancel or modify bookings. If cancellation occurs, full refunds are issued.

Child Pricing and Seats

All children and infants count towards passenger numbers. Child seats are provided free of charge; customers must inform the Company of ages and quantities. If using own seats, notify in advance for compatibility.

Luggage

Each customer must provide information regarding the amount and size of luggage.

The Company may upgrade vehicles or add trailers to accommodate extra luggage, with no refund for trailer fees unless a vehicle upgrade is provided.

Flight Delays or Cancellations

Flights are monitored online. If delayed over an hour, extra charges will apply. Cancelled flights result in full payment charges, with invoices available for insurance claims.

Contact, Waiting Time, and No-shows

- Airport waiting time: up to 60 minutes after scheduled landing unless a specific pickup time is provided.

- Other locations: 15 minutes from confirmed pickup time.

- Beyond that, extra waiting time can be requested and charged, subject to driver availability.

Failure to contact the driver or delays at borders or baggage claim may result in a “no-show,” requiring full payment.

Vehicles & Upgrades

Vehicle images are for illustration. Vehicles are subject to availability and may differ in color. If the booked vehicle is unavailable, a similar or upgraded vehicle will be provided at no extra cost.

Liability

The Company is liable only for direct damages up to the transfer price. It is not responsible for missed flights, weather, traffic, or third-party actions unless due to negligence. If unable to deliver to the destination, alternative transportation will be arranged, with costs not exceeding taxi fares. In extreme weather or safety situations, the Company may decide on alternative options.

Customer Responsibility

Customers must provide accurate details (addresses, contact info, passenger ages, luggage). Minors’ guardians are responsible for their conduct and damages. All passengers must wear seat belts. Smoking and alcohol are prohibited. The customer authorizes the Company to charge for damages caused by them.

Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside its control, such as accidents, police actions, terrorism, or severe weather.

Legal Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Disputes should first be resolved amicably or via mediation. Failing that, disputes are settled in the Swiss courts of Fribourg.

Complaints

Customers are encouraged to report issues via email or phone. The Company aims to improve continuously.
